Let's talk about my vision for my future. I have this big dream and it’s time to share it with the world. The future holds something special, for me and you. It    ties into the journey I've been sharing with you.

JAi Life Skills and Developmental Services Ltd... that was just a small dream, and is now my reality. Training Anchor is our flagship product - a full range of training resources developed just for you.  People are not one dimensional - it’s time to bring on the whole you!

Hi everyone, I just want to share a story from my past with you.    Straight out of school as a young girl I formed a Sports club.  This club consisted of youths from my community who participated in Netball, Football, Basketball and even Table tennis.  We played at a competitive level, and won many games and trophies.  From an early age I loved and cared for people and believed that 'teamwork makes the dream work!' I guess I was an ' influencer'  from an early age!   Life has a way of playing jokes on us -  imagine, I am in business developing and influencing positive change in others! A Piece of my Present - Dr. Chris Mitchell

Thinking About The Present I just disrupted my life, I changed jobs. I went from a wave of mixed emotions to feeling fantastic! The enormity of the emotions which came with the changes were - fear, joy,  uncertainty , relief, sadness, release & anticipation.  I went from receiving a salary to pulling all my skills together. What a reality check for me ... keeping it real. Based on what  I’ve learnt from this experience there are two things that I wish to share:   Change is the only constant in life.   Jesus Christ remains the same. Is It Possible To Change Someone?

No one has the power to change someone.  The ability for change from a human perspective is within all of us. It is a myth that one person can change the thinking of another based on social and cultural norms. In reality the power of influence can be given credit for changing the position of another. In relationships there is a need for acceptance, love and to be needed. Sometimes this desire for emotional connection can push an individual to accept "God complex behavior".  We are not, nor can we ever be, God to someone!  As sated above the power to change must come from within the individual. I tried to change someone I cared about and it did not work.  My persistent efforts did not work because the individual did not have a desire to change in the way I wanted.  When the individual did not change as I wished, I felt sick within because I did not get my way.
